This policy explains what techbaes.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. In this policy, “TechBaes”, “I” and “me” mean TechBaes, the business behind this site.
The short version: I collect as little as I can, and I never sell your information.
What I collect
- Your email address, if you sign up for free stuff. I use it to send you what you asked for, plus emails about my tools, courses and films. It is stored with my email service.
- Anything you send me. If you email me, I get your email address and your message.
- Basic technical data. The company that hosts this site, Hostinger, keeps standard server logs. These include your IP address, your browser type and the pages you visit. They help keep the site running and secure.
This site never asks for payment details. Purchases happen on other platforms, which are covered below.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers. These are the outside services it does use:
- Google Fonts. The fonts load from Google’s servers, so Google receives your IP address and browser details. See Google’s privacy policy.
- Hostinger Reach. My email tool loads a small script. When a sign-up form is on the page, it counts how often the form is seen and sent. It also saves a timestamp in your browser’s local storage, so one visit is not counted twice.
- Short.io. Links on this site go through my link shortener, techbaes.short.gy. When you click one, Short.io records basic click data, like the time, your country, your device type and the page you came from.
Sites I send you to
When you buy something or join a course, you leave this site. Checkout happens on Beacons and courses live on Skool. My films are on YouTube, and my socials are on Instagram, Threads and TikTok. Those companies handle your information under their own privacy policies, not this one.
How I use your information
- To send you what you signed up for.
- To reply to your messages.
- To keep this site working and secure.
I do not sell or rent your personal information. I only share it with the services that help run this site, like my host and my email service, or when the law requires it.
How long I keep it
- Email list: until you unsubscribe.
- Messages: as long as I need them to help you.
- Server logs: as long as my host keeps them.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe anytime. Every email I send has an unsubscribe link.
- See, fix or delete your data. Email hello@techbaes.com and I will help.
- Extra rights where you live. Depending on where you live, for example the EU, the UK or California, local law may give you more rights. Email me to use them.
Kids
This site is not meant for children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent me their information, email me and I will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, I will update this page and the date at the top.
